Carbohydrates is a very important nutrient needed by the body. It is the body's fuel. It gives us energy. Without carbohydrates, we will become so weak and unable to function our daily tasks. However, carbohydrates intake should be taken in moderation as too much intake would also result to some diseases where some of them is life-threatening.
Too much carbohydrates in the body will be stored as fats. These results to big belly and fat deposits in some parts of the body. Weight loss is a very popular topic and lessening our carbohydrates intake will help us achieve a healthy and sexy body.
Excessive carbohydrates in the body will also lead to diabetes later which is a very dangerous and life-threatening disease. When diabetes becomes severe, it will affect some organs of the body and to some may even cause blindness. Diabetes also lessens or even eliminates the body's capability to heal. This is the reason why the wounds of diabetic patients don't heal immediately.
These are just some of the dangerous effects of too much carbohydrates in the body. More complications will arise later most especially if there is no change in diet is done.
