Causes of Excessive Sweating Part 1

September 8th 2010 17:16
It is the body’s natural make-up to perspire. Sweating is good for the body as it is the body’s way of cooling itself. All of us have 2-4 million sweat glands and once we do strenuous and other physical activities, the body’s normal reaction to it is to sweat. Women have more sweat glands than men but men are more active that’s why they perspire more than women.

Yes sweating is healthy, however, once the body’s sweating process becomes excessive, it is an indication that there is an abnormal functioning of our sweat glands or it may be caused by other factors such as eating spicy foods, being under in a high or hot temperature, being in a stressful situation or it may be caused by other underlying health condition like infections, low blood sugar or thyroid problems.

Excessive sweating can also be traced back to the genes that you have inherited from your parents. If your parents tend to perspire easily and excessively, chances are you will suffer the same condition as you grow up. It is therefore important to identify the specific causes of your condition so the necessary treatment can be given. This will also help avoid embarrassment on the affected person most especially when you are with your friends and in public.

Health Benefits of Playing Golf

September 8th 2010 16:59
Golf is one of the favorite sports of many people. Others though don’t really like it as they believe that it burns lesser calories than the other forms of exercise like brisk walking, jogging or swimming and other kinds of sports like bowling, tennis, and many others. It is necessary that we know what benefits we can get from playing golf so we would be aware how it can also be useful to help make our body strong and healthy. Playing this popular sport will help us get our daily need of vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential in regulating the amount of calcium and phosphorous in our blood and it helps make our bones strong. Engaging ourselves in this kind of sport is also good for cardiovascular workout. It also helps speed up our metabolism and will help to make our body fit. Regular exercise like playing golf will also burn our fat deposits and lower our body’s cholesterol level. It will also help prevent bone degeneration. Like any other exercise, playing golf will help us get a sound sleep. Exercise relaxes our muscles and will give us that much needed sleep at night.

For those who love this kind of sport, the Myrtle Beach golf courses are great places to play for your bonding time with the whole family or with your friends. They also have different Myrtle Beach golf packages that you can choose from depending on how long and which golf courses you want to play on. Myrtle Beach is a resort city which is located in Horry County, South Carolina which is home to numerous mini-golf courses and golf courses. According to Wikipedia, it is called the “Golf Capital of the World” as it has 120 golf courses and many miniature golf courses. Some of the most famous golf courses in this city are the Myrtle Beach National Golf Course, River Oaks Golf Plantation, Arcadian Shores Golf Club, Arrowhead Country Club, Grande Dunes Golf Resort, Whispering Pines Golf Course, Barefoot Resort and Golf Club located in North Myrtle Beach, Burning Ridge Golf Course.

As I was browsing around online to look for the best sites where we can book our tee times and at the same time provide our much needed accommodation, I found the webite, http://www.myrtlebeachgolf.net. It contains the necessary information about the "golf capital", Myrtle Beach as well as the packages that we could choose from for that relaxing and challenging golf playing experience.

Weight loss is a very popular topic around the world. Women strive hard and do the best they can in order to arrive to that voluptuous body with the right curves at the right places. However, due to the many temptations around plus the natural power of aging, metabolism of women as they grow older slows down. This results to slow burning of the calories of the foods that we intake. If not all of these calories are burned, it results to stored fats in our body which are most commonly found in our belly, upper arms, chin, buttocks, thighs and upper back.

Herbalife International has found a solution to this problem. Herbal Life products will help an individual lose those unwanted fats through their special meal-replacement shakes diet and by increasing the amounts of protein intake to help lose unwanted pounds as well as inches for good.

Herbal Nutrition is one of the solutions to the problem of weight loss. The protein meal-replacement shake will minimize one’s craving for solid foods and will give the stomach a feeling of being full. This maybe proven effective, however, those who will follow this program should also be firm and discipline themselves so the desired shape and weight will be arrived sooner. The solution to the problem also depends on how focused we are to our goal of becoming body beautiful again.

September 3rd 2010 11:50
The human body is very sensitive and vulnerable to diseases and infections. The food we eat and the kind of lifestyle we have greatly contributes to the overall health condition of our body. Unhealthy eating may lead to certain diseases that our body may acquire when we get older. Too much drinking and smoking may also cause very harmful diseases that may incur later in life.

Generally speaking, what is healthy living? How can we achieve a sound mind and sound body? These words maybe self-explanatory but it is important to remind ourselves sometimes of their true meaning. Healthy living means eating the right foods to make our body healthy and strong enough to fight-off diseases. It also concerns about having a healthy lifestyle. Too much drinking is not advised and smoking should be avoided or even stopped.
