Our eye is the window of our soul. We can enjoy the beauty all around us because of the great gift of sight. However, when later on our eyesight diminishes, it becomes difficult for us to do all the things that we used to do anymore. Much worse is when we lose our eyesight which maybe due to some disease or in some cases due to negligence and abuse.
One condition that may cause blindness is the severe appearance of eye floaters. Eye floaters are the occasional specks that are visible in front of our eyes. In most cases, people would think they are dust accumulated in the outer eye layer or tiny little insects floating along in front of one’s eye. However, the appearance of eye floaters may also be an indication of a more serious eye problem which is retinal detachment which would need immediate surgery procedure. The normal condition is that eye floaters become visible only in a light background. If these eye floaters increase in number and becomes visible already in any background which is accompanied by loss of vision, it is time for you to be alarmed already.
What are the Eye Floaters Causes? One of the causes of this condition is due to a detached retina or if there is a hole in it. It makes many eye floaters appear and you will experience flashing before your eyes. Once your vision gradually loses, it is already time for you to sought immediate medical advice. It is always best to have it checked at the soonest possible time before it would be too late.
