Cranberries are popular to improving the condition of people who are suffering from Urinary Tract Infection. UTI is caused by a virus called Escherichia coli (E. coli) virus that causes burning sensation and pain when a person is urinating. This bacteria travels from the urinary duct to the bladder. Cranberries help remedy this condition as it contains proanthocyanidins (PACS) which prevents the bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract. Thus, a smoother and less painful urine disposal is experienced. Continuous drinking of cranberry juice and lots of fluids will help remedy this problem.
