Dispense Yourself To Health

How healthy we all are and how we could be healthier seems to be a subject that is consistently cropping up in the media today. From eating our greens to making sure we have drunk eight glasses of water a day it seems there is no end of things we should be doing to make sure we are healthy.

However, simple things like drinking water should not be underestimated. It really does not take much and can benefit your health in more ways than one. One product that has emerged and by some people is considered merely a trend is mineral water. Most people would argue that when drinking their eight glasses a day they should just drink the cheaper water from their tap and not spend anything on mineral water. Interestingly though, tap water can kill the natural bacteria in the body which is needed for a strong immune system.

Despite this, bottled mineral water is an expensive alternative and being that water is so important; it should be swiftly available in places particularly in the workplace. Water dispensers are now widespread in offices all over as companies are made aware of the necessity of hydrated worker. The dehydrated worker can struggle greatly with concentration compared to the hydrated worker. This seems more apparent when you consider that our bodies are mainly made up of water.

Throughout the day our body constantly looses water through functions such as going to the toilet, breathing and perspiring. Not only this but other differing factors such as the temperature may greatly influence just how much water we end up losing.

To remain hydrated at all times it is good to drink water before, after and during any exercise or physical activities. But the amount of water you need to drink will rely on how much you personally perspire and how hard the activity is.

The temperature within your work place will also affect how much water you may need to intake on a daily basis. A slightly warm and close office can be very unpleasant and when the temperature is like this, a treat would definitely come in the form of an icy cup of water to keep your thirst at bay. This is why it is important that you have access to cold water all day, preferably in a water dispenser. A water dispenser will provide your office with cooled water very quickly and conveniently.

People become more dehydrated during the colder months because you feel less thirsty in colder climates than in warm ones. But a heated office will cause you to sweat without really being aware of it. You should therefore not wait till you feel physically thirsty to drink, but drink at intervals during the day and more importantly when you eat.

It is worth considering when you enter and exit the office in winter months wrapping in layers and removing them that this causes your body to sweat in order to adapt to the change of climate. If you are poorly during the winter it is even more important to intake more water, to keep your bodies hydration levels high.

Water Dispensers all over the UK should be being used more within the colder months than the hotter ones. Doctors recommend that people should consume around 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day dependent on how active each individual is. So when working hard, remember to drink regularly at the water dispenser.
