There is a buzz nowadays about the fruit guyabano or sour sop for being an effective cancer cell killer. It is believed that guyabano is tens of thousands more effective than undergoing chemotherapy.

In an article by Ms. Mylene Mendoza-Dayrit from philstar.com, she recalled the story of a barangay captain from Bataan who was diagnosed with cancer. This man was advised to take tea from the soursop bark and leaves. Being hopeless that his condition was terminal, he did what his friend advised him to do for three months.
