Health Benefits of Strawberries

We all love strawberries. Many people love to eat it fresh or with their favorite cereals in the morning. I love strawberry jam on my bread with my favorite health drink. My nephew loves strawberry cake and we make sure we have it on family gatherings. Yes, we all love strawberries. However, aside from its delicious taste, strawberries also have good benefits to the human body.

As we grow older, our brain tissues and body cells start to degenerate. This results to gradual memory loss and weakening of our nerves. We can observe that we are not as alert anymore as we were when we were younger. The oxidants that our body encounters daily also adds to this. Strawberries
are rich in Vitamin-C and phytochemicals. These two help counteract and neutralize the effects of antioxidants in the body helping our cells to become healthy. If our cells are healthy, our whole body system becomes healthy too.
Strawberries have high potassium and magnesium contents. These two minerals help lower the body's blood pressure which maybe caused by stress, sodium and high fat intake.
