It was an hour before the crime show I watch every week on Illinois direc tv I was at our local drug store and suddenly remembered that I did not have any snacks in the house. How could I get through my crime show without a snack?
I hurried like a squad car to the snack aisle. Choices galore abounded. The peanuts were too heavy of a snack. The caramel corn would be a gooey sweet. The cookies and candy bars were chocolate, but full of unhealthy ingredients. Then I spotted it. The microwave popcorn jumped out at me like a fresh piece of evidence. Its saltiness would be refreshing.
Soon after arriving home I popped the popcorn in the microwave. The buttery aroma saturated the air with its beckoning fragrance. Smelling it pop was the same anticipatory feeling I was having for my t.v. show.
I like to eat popcorn while watching satellite television. As the tension builds in my crime show, I crunch out my stress while chewing the popcorn. If I don't want to hear a scream, I heap a fistful of popcorn into my mouth which drowns out the sound.
